The other day I was Googling along when out of nowhere all Flash-enabled sites stopped working. No Mini Putt. No Fly the Copter. No YouTube. W-T-F?
I searched the forums and came up empty, but then I remembered that Chrome integrates Flash as a plug-in within the browser. So, I figured, all I needed to do was disable the Flash plug-in.
1. Type “about:plugins” into the browser address bar to pull up the browser preference page.

2. Click “Details” to expand the plugins.

3. Locate the Flash plug-in. In my case these are labeled “Shockwave Flash – Version: 11.1.102.63″ and “Shockwave Flash – Version: 11.1.102.62″ and click “Disable” on the newer version.

4. Now, the newer (disabled) version will be grayed out.

5. Close/Open your browser.
If everything goes well, you’ll no longer see a blank video on YouTube…

…and instead, you can go back to watching Sh!t Cats Say.
I can’t guarantee that this fix will work for you, but it worked for me which means it’s worth a shot.
