Draw Something is a mobile version of Pictionary, and follows a gameplay format to Chess with Friends and Words With Friends. While it’s only been around for 2 months it is a huge friggin’ hit with over 15 million users.
But why?
For two reasons really: 1) Draw Something is dead simple to play, and 2) the game is ridiculously addictive.
Gameplay

Eyepatch (in case you're wondering)
As it goes, you create an account using your email address or via Facebook. Then, you create a game by hitting up one of your Facebook friends, enter a username or email address, or letting the game create a random matchup for you.
Once a game is created, the first player chooses an easy, medium, or hard word (each with their own coin payout). After a word is chosen the player uses different pen sizes and colors to draw the word.
When their masterpiece is finished, it’s sent off to the second player who gets to watch the first player’s drawing played back in real time. All the second player needs to do is guess the word by filling in the empty tile slots with the provided letters.
If the drawing is guessed correctly, both players earn a corresponding number of coins to spend game items like new paint colors, or “bombs” (which either provide gamers with a new set of words to draw, or will eliminate letters from the pool when guessing), and the match continues. If guessed incorrectly, the game starts over at turn zero.
BTW, for gamers willing to spend money, coins can be purchased in-app <– totally not necessary.
What’s missing?
Game Center support. Should be a given, but it isn’t; A drawing gallery. You can pull up stats on each current game, but it’d be nice to see the drawings that’ve been created by either player; and chat. I like that I can chat with my opponent in Words and Chess with Friends (2 other Zynga acquistions). Hopefully, chat will make it to the top of the future updates list.
UPDATE: As of 04/18/12 OMGPOP has added a few features which address my wishlist and make it easier to play the game.
