Blog With Me
When I started this blog I bet Vegas odds on the digital world that I could infect the world with my cynicism and sarcasm. My articles have always been stream of consciousness; whatever pops in my head gets written. Does that make it awesome? No, but it does make it authentic.
So here’s the deal. Now that I’m finally comfortable with this whole blogging thing I’m turning to you for feedback and contributions—in other words, I’d like for you to blog with me.
See. What do you like and/or dislike about y2kemo.com? What would you like to be able to do that you currently cannot do on this site? If your answer is “I’m only reading this because I inadvertently clicked on a link” that doesn’t mean you don’t have an opinion. Seriously, what appalling visual can I change to make the site more engaging?
Hear. What do you want discussed on this blog? I’m educated (doesn’t mean squat) and my viewpoints are often skewed and misinformed (not really persuading you am I?) I have contributing authors (that don’t contribute [nudge nudge]) that are waiting for a story to run with (not really). So tell me what you want to hear and I’ll be sure to include something that tickles your fancy. [Hope/Shameless plug] Of course, if you’re a web designer/programmer (unlike me) you’re welcome to volunteer your skills [hint hint] for a free.
Share. I’ve heard from a lot of different people who like the fact that I’m just writing for the sake of writing. More often than not they admit to be too uncomfortable to put themselves out there. Each time I respond by telling them it simply doesn’t matter. We don’t get better at anything unless we do it on a regular basis. So if you’re interested, fill out the form below or send me an e-mail telling me a little about yourself. If you pass my “rigorous” screening I’ll set you up as an author.
That’s all I got. If you want to see or hear something different, or if you want just want to share something with the world, now’s your chance to blog with me. Otherwise, shut yer piehole (and keep reading).
Your turn…
Fill in the blanks.
Are you ready to take the plunge and blog with me? Fill out the form below or send me in an e-mail at TiTy@y2kemo.com.
