Last year the Discovery Channel opened up their annual Shark Week with “Megalodon: The Monster Shark Lives” a two-hour “docufiction” about a giant prehistoric shark that was found living in the waters off of South Africa. Like many of the 4.8 million viewers, I was duped into thinking the show was real. After all, the Discovery Channel hosts Shark Week, not Syfy.
My buddy found this huge hornet (paper wasp??) nest in a bush on his farm. Turns out they’d been mowing next to it for months and neither party noticed the other.
At the end of the 2013 WWDC keynote, Apple unveiled iOS 7, the most significant re-vamp of the OS in six years. Most noticeable is the new design. Like it or not, Jon Ive has left his mark all over that fire hydrant. Beyond the design redesign a bunch of other things got updated, added, or borrowed from other mobile operating systems.
