Fly The Copter
In my last post I shared with you one of my “Bored at Work” favorites, Mini-Putt. To those of you who are still playing the game, get ready ’cause today I’m going to tell you about an even more addictive game; my all time favorite time-waster, Fly The Copter.
**WARNING: If you continue to read this post you will undoubtedly click on the game’s link which will result in zero productivity for the remainder of the day. **
Play Mini-Putt
The first time I went golfing was back in 2002 and I sucked. I opened the first hole with a course record five whiffs. The following day I tried my luck at the driving range. While I did a little better, I managed to hit a ball over the protective 12-story net, into a neighboring used car lot, and off about three cars (unconfirmed).
Perhaps the game doesn’t have enough action. Perhaps it requires too much skill. Perhaps I just suck at it. Whatever the case may be I tend to avoid real golf with drivers and the other named clubs, and play 18 holes with a putter instead.
Bureaucracy Blows
Trying to get something accomplished in an environment that’s lined disconnected with red tape is a pain in the posterior. For whatever reason, easy YES or NO questions spiral into field trips with 50 stops, 34 people, 18 meetings, 12 contracts, and a handful of signatures. Why? Where is the efficiency? Who cares? ME! It’s annoying that every time I have a question I must lace up the running shoes and clear out my calendar for the next two weeks just to get an answer. For the love of Zod, I just want a stapler!
